Tomorrow begins the start of government examinations which are mandatory for our son to graduate from his highschool studies.
Tomorrow the pressure is on because it is part one of his English exam, followed by Tuesday's part one of his Socials Studies exam. They are particularly important as they count for 50% of his final grade marks.
The following week he will be proctored for part two of both exams, one day after the other.
Time allowed for exams? 2 1/2 hours from start to finish with a proctor remaining in the room to attest there was no cheating.
After each test, the proctor will slip the completed exams into a Canada post airmail overnight envelope and return it to the government education department offices for grading.
It's been amazing to realize our son is already 18 years old, graduating from high school and off to our local university to have his exams proctored because we knew no one else in our new area that could assist for this duty.
He's studying hard tonight. He says he is ready and he's definitely pumped to get on with it all!
Graduation time is here!
If you happen to think of our son on both Monday and Tuesday mornings this week, and again on the 25th and 26th in the morning, could you say a prayer for him as he completes this final stage of his studies for highschool? Thanks so much.
