June - Love it or go crazy!

As noted in the last posting, our past week has been ultra busy. It seems all the end of year activities are happening NOW - THIS WEEK!

Therefore, it wasn’t a surprise to find, not only an end of year dance recital on the calendar….

Two ballet numbers this year, and two tap. Of interest was the Hawaiian dance number, when we were off and returning from Hawaii ourselves.

Cute!

On with the dance! Let joy be unconfined;

No sleep till morn, when Youth and Pleasure meet

To chase the glowing hours with flying feet.

~George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage

Flowers for the dancer with her
Grade two exam certificate for ballet.

But also, summer soccer began in earnest…

As did the piano recital with all four taking part and playing for the audience…

And, the ever present lawn mowing, hockey (ice and roller), and everything in between.

A friend emailed me this week to offer her cheery support after first revealing this fact;

"Me thinks thou hast fallen off the face of the earth, when an email reply from me wasn’t forthcoming."

When I had two minutes to spare, I wrote back with this;

"Me thinks me needs a restful summer to recover from this busyness of life and playing taxi with no fare nor tip!"

So...if you haven't heard from me lately, this would be why!
