Christmas in the barn

Ali waiting for his grooming.
Tonight was the night for the usual weekly horse riding lesson and volunteer grooming sessions. To our surprise, the barn was decorated and festive with a lit Christmas tree decorated in the entrance way, and red stockings hung on each and every horse stable (all thirty-three of them!), not to feel left out, the two dogs each had one hung above their house as well.
What a fun touch!

Two grooming "Rocky" for the teacher.
The owner remarked she usually had a few candy canes up on the tree each year, that was until the dogs figured them out and attacked the tree to eat them.

Grooming her horse before her lesson on him.

Ready for action!
