Advent; About those childhood traditions...

It seems making this simple countdown chain has become a family tradition over the years.

Our ten year old daughter decided she could make this one above herself for the family this year, but when it was complete and hung up in the kitchen, she then asked if it could be her special countdown chain alone, and would no one else be responsible for it, but her.

Hmmm, this was a new one for me, her requesting to be the sole daily chains breaker. Generally everyone gets in a tiff debating over who's turn it is each day. So far, so good and so cute.
