Seasonal thoughts...

If I can put one touch of rosy sunset into the life

of any man or woman,

I shall feel that I have worked with God.

~ Gilbert K. Chesterton

The marvelous sunset beauty captured within the photo above during the early evening this week, has winked at me through the no longer leafy tree line at the back of our property nightly for over a week now.

While the exquisite beauty of our autumn season comes to abrupt end, the myriad of its splendid colors are now leaving us for a time.

In its heels it seems there is an enhanced "blah factor" and "dead tree trunk and branch stick ugliness" for a time, the current view from our windows anyway.

However, when one season closes, God has a way of keeping our spirits bright, teasing us with his continued beauty blessings during the interim towards the imminent threshold of another new season ahead, one which has not yet fully arrived - winter no less, when its wintry white snowfalls and fabulous blue sunny skies will very soon be here in our midst. (clap, clap, clap!)
