speaking of hockey games....

Our youngest son thought it so not fair he had a late night hockey game of his own scheduled during the same timing as the Canada Junior versus Russia championships last week.

I assured him that no matter what, his game was far more important in our family than the one broadcasted on the television screen.

I offered my usual little hopeful line: Maybe try and score a goal for your mother instead of moping ....wink, wink.


When the coach switched him to play center instead of defense, he was able to capture a great goal, and then another, and finally a hat trick ~ PLUS two assists.

Yahooey!

Too bad he wasn't able to help Canada's Junior boys out.
