Good Friday's ; Way of the Cross

We adore thee O Christ and we bless thee,
Because by thy Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.

Our Cross with 14 candle "stations"

Fourteen Stations were represented simply by using the same number of candles in the shape of a cross, lighting them all to make our way of the cross.

Lighting the candles together

As each station was read and contemplated upon, one candle was snuffed out, then as we continued to proceed along the road to Calvary, more candles were snuffed after each station was completed, one by one.

At the very end when all fourteen station candles were no longer lit, we found our room was suddenly in complete darkness, prompting us to kneel down in thanksgiving for HIS ultimate sacrifice and the holy cross he was nailed upon.
