She's here safe and sound!

She's HERE, safe and sound!

As you know we've been a tad boastful about finally (!) being able to share our life here in the east with our older children, first with our son and his family, and today our oldest daughter landed safely to visit with us, overlapping with everyone else. We are feeling happily bonded together this evening.


How fun it was to watch her plane land and bring her here to our home, joining all the others!

She won't be here long, just four days due to travel work commitments which brought her to this part of the country in the first place. Time will fly, leaving her to blink her eyes soon enough before having to board yet another flight to complete those required work duties very soon. But in the meantime, we will all enjoy having her here, along with the rest of the family.

Air travel can be exhausting for anyone, especially when arriving at the departure airport before the brink of dawn, traveling all day and connecting to final flight just to divert her travels and spend some time here with us. Needless to say, a good night's sleep was most welcomed to her early this evening. Tomorrow though, the plans will unfold for the rest of her trip to our part of the country. We will walk the ocean shores, and make memories together. Stay tuned for more...
