Hills are hazy, skies are clear.
Birds are leaving, southward bound.
Goldenrod in bloom is found.
Brittle cornstalks and crisp leaves
Rustle in the gentle breeze.
Brooks run slowly, locusts hum,
Thus proclaiming, Autumn's come.
