The season of autumn has arrived upon us with its typical flare of dashing boldness, and seems to have precursored with slow & gentle rising of our awareness, on having so very much to be thankful for.
A lovely old stone church we saw on one of our exploration drives
For us in the country now, we see signs of farmers pulling in their harvest, stocking up the larder for winter, and glorious ever changing color patterns from day to day. Likely they have much to be thankful for, just in a different way than we, as this is their very livelihood.
We value our family and friends thanking God always for those who are in our lives, and those who have blessed us while crossing our paths in days gone by, touching our hearts with gratitude for having met them.
It’s just so beautiful outdoors at present and seemed to arrive as suddenly as the day summer officially passed by on the calendar, with its companion, "cool nippy air" visiting us nightly to give us a clear reminder winter is on its way with a vengeance.
The thankfulness we are feeling leads perfectly towards this weekend’s “Canadian Thanksgiving”, particularly with our desire to wish and thank each and every one of you for blessing us with your friendship, warm thoughts, kindnesses and continued prayers always, as we journey onward on this thing called life.
Love to you all! Life is Good!
