April Shower of Photos
Day 10
Visiting the "Navy Pier" on the Chicago city waterfront was suggested by our friends as a rendezvous place for an afternoon of sightseeing.
Initially gloomy, in the end, the day turned out fine.
A surprise rain shower the evening before filled us with thoughts of a gloomy and cold day ahead, knowing any outdoor activities would require a change of plans for someone in our party.
Thinking only positive thoughts and looking onward with the hope of a great day, within half an hour, the sun did pop out just enough to brighten up the skies and greet us once arriving on the upper promenade deck after our lunch with friends, the change of weather just in time for the children to become propelled into a bug-eyed state of mind, and big puppy dog eyed requests followed hoping for some of these below...
Ohhhhh, what fun and so delightfully tempting
