New Year's Eve, 2009

Traditions beckoned us forward to indulge in our usual New Year Chinese food dinner together as family. I can't quite recall just how long we have been doing this, but I would estimate most of our married lives, give or take a year or two.

With due caution we ventured out with two vehicles on snowy roads to attend our dinner reservation for our traditional Chinese food feast.

The roads were snowy white, yet still track bare on our way to dinner. One son was just punching out at his new job while another guest was to be picked up along the way.

Our dinner was perfect, and I have to admit it gets me every time to hit a buffet dinner. I always eat way too much!

The endless supply of crab legs, fresh jumbo shrimp, chinese, sushi, prime rib, and so much more is always a delectable feasting experience at this particular restaurant.

If one doesn't prefer to eat the traditional chinese food fare offered, plenty of alternatives welcome any food connoisseur to it's tables.

Best of all, we were able to ring in the new year with my parents, and give thanks for the previous year and all the many blessings we were graciously given.

Happy 2010 New Year!
